- Gels, Aerosols, & Liquids. You will certainly want to bring along items such as hairspray, perfumes, and shampoos as you travel. However, you can’t just pack your bottles. Each item must be kept in a clear plastic container, and weigh no more than 3.4 ounces.
- Risky Items. If you are planning on packing a knife or more risky items, you should think twice before doing so, as sharp, pointed objects are prohibited! But, you can still take metal, pointed-tip scissors with blades shorter than four inches, along with general tools, such as wrenches and screwdrivers, as long as they are under seven inches. In addition, you may take lighters on board, but you can’t check them.
- Food & Gifts. If you are planning on packing a gift for someone within your suitcase, don’t wrap it until you arrive at your destination, or the airport will unwrap it for you! In addition, if you are bringing along food, you are in luck, as long as it is unopened and in its original package.
